How Should PMC Fabrics Be Stored?

FAQ

PMC Fabric Storage Guidelines:

  • Temperature: 10-30°C (avoid extreme heat or cold)
  • Humidity: 40-70% RH (excessive humidity degrades fabric, too dry causes brittleness)
  • UV Protection: Keep in opaque packaging — UV radiation degrades PET and PA polymers
  • Orientation: HORIZONTAL storage only — vertical storage causes fabric distortion and damage
  • Stacking: Maximum 3 rolls high to prevent bottom roll compression
  • Shelf Life: 2 years from date of manufacture
  • Long-Term Storage: If stored >1 year, inspect thoroughly before installation for any signs of degradation
